Eligibility:
Entry is open to gentlemen amateur golfers of 30 years of age and over with a maximum Handicap of 5. The field will be limited to 60 players plus invitees.
Schedule of Events:
Friday 31st May - Afternoon Practice Round, followed by a Welcoming Reception & Supper for all competitors, held in the Clubhouse at 19.00hrs. Dress Code - Jacket & Tie.
Saturday 1st June - 18 Hole Scratch stroke play with the leading forty players qualifying for the match play phases, organised into five flights, commencing Saturday afternoon. The top-flight qualifiers will contest the Harold Hilton Medal. Golf will be followed by a Championship Black Tie Dinner held in the Clubhouse, 20.15hrs for 20.30hrs, which all competitors are expected to attend.
Sunday 2nd June - Match play phases continue. Players failing to qualify, or defeated on Saturday afternoon, will contest the Scratch Stableford on Sunday morning.

Entrants are required to complete the online form using the Smart Survey link below. A first ballot based on handicap will be carried out on Monday 11th March 2024 and successful applicants will receive confirmation of their place in the Tournament and be contacted for payment. Any unsuccessful applicants will be informed. Entries will continue to be accepted thereafter and assessed on handicap as they are received.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee for 2024 will be £275.00 (£130.00 for RLGC Members) which includes Practice Round, Tournament Rounds, Captain’s Welcoming Reception and Supper, Lunches and the Championship Dinner.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up in each flight, the leading qualifier and the winner of the scratch stableford. The overall winner will receive the Harold Hilton Medal which will remain the property of and in the possession of Royal Liverpool Golf Club.
