LADIES MEMBERSHIP
At present the Club is particularly interested in encouraging applications to our Ladies’ section. We encourage women playing golf at all levels and have an active and inclusive social agenda.
JUNIORS AND YOUTH MEMBERSHIP
Youth membership begins at age 12. There is strong competition for limited places but we carefully consider applications from genuinely keen players who aspire to become full members of the Club at age 18 or 22. However, you don’t have to be the next Rory!
For those age 6 to 11 years, our Head Professional, John Heggarty, and his team run an academy providing coaching and experience in all aspects of the game, along with opportunities to take part in our organised golf events during the school holidays. We look to offer Youth membership beyond that for selected candidates.
Parents of 6 to 11 year-olds should email John at [email protected] to enquire about current opportunities.
University Players
The Club already maintains strong links with Liverpool University. If you are a student in the region, a competent player, a member of a Club at home and keen to explore the possibility of playing at Royal Liverpool, you are very welcome to do so.

MOVING TO OUR AREA � FULL MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
If you are a competent golfer, have been a contributing member of a recognised golf Club and are relocating to the North West, you may not be able to find a proposer and the necessary support from within our existing membership to sponsor your application.
In these circumstances, the Club may consider offering temporary membership to a limited number of exceptional applicants, usually for a twelve month period, during which time that person has the opportunity to fully take part in Club activities and find the support necessary to move on to Full Member status.
Those near or at retirement age, unless exceptional players or contributors to the game, are less likely to be considered, as our ‘senior’ categories are fully subscribed.
